This is a movie I originally saw in highschool, I was 15 and visiting my penpal in Minnesota. It is a strange movie but also interesting, which strange movies tend to be. But if you are 16 and middle class in Minnesota you might not like the movie, my penpal Julie didn't like it, but I kinda did. It has a message about love and about enjoying the days while you have them. I don't think I have seen it since, until I just saw it now again. It makes me laugh when I remember talking about the movie with Julie and her parents, such different perspectives. I think I CAN understand now how strange it must have seemed to her, confusing when it is not what you were expecting.
Have moments in life that you fully enjoy, look for them if you have to. Make yourself laugh when you wake up feeling like you want to cry (that was me this morning-for no apparent reason).
I think this might have been a play originally, it has that quality. I like movies with some kind of a message, a movie you can discuss.
Anyway, anyone else see this movie?
