Out and In

Myspace is out.

Facebook is in.

Facebook treats you better.

Facebook

I love facebook!

There are some who demonize it for being a time-waster, but what I want to praise is how it has over and over connected me with people. Yes I have found many people I have lost touch with which is great and all. But I have been repeatedly amazed at how it has benefitted me with finding three Christian ladies either just moved to Portland or on their way there now (all are either friend of a friend/went to the same college, taught with ESI, and one is a random but trusted connection), two of them I may live with, but all could be new friends, which is always something you need in a new city.

I love Facebook

And another wonderful thing is I am changing jobs before I move (it may seem foolish and I am a bit nervous but I think in the long run it will be a great opportunity to have some special ed. experience before I go to school for teaching special ed. ). And I have just found a local connection who can't necesarily get me a job but she gave me some helpful info about where I might be hired, and she went to my college.

I love Facebook.

And I prefer it over myspace because I feel like I have more control and options about who can see my info.

God is Good, all the time!
